hi am 13 female i need some advice my best friend lets call her ciara is mad at me because i didnt tell her my secret first. but i didnt tell that other person named courtney she just found out i try to explain to her that i didnt tell her but she wont believe me and i dont want us to stop talking to each other again what should i do?thanks

I've read your problem and i understand what your trying to saying.But first of all, i need to clarify a point for you.
Umm.. I have a best friend called monica,and we have been best friends for 6 years now,and then one time , i had this huge secret, and i wasn't even sure if i was going to tell her or not,and then one way or another, the secret got spread around,and alot of people knew about it, and one girl called nancy came and kept talking about it to me, and so monica got mad, and she told me "you always tell me your secrets first before anyone else" and so i told her that I was wrong and that i am sorry and that i should have told her before the word spread out, and do you know what she did? She accepted my apology, right there at at the spur of moment,because i have always known my best friend, and she had always known that i trust her and tell her my secrets before i tell anyone else.
So here in your situation, this is really similar to my story.And your not wrong about anything, because you were going to tell her ,before this courtney found out about it,so its definitely not your fault.
Besides ,number 1,she may be your best freind,but that doesn't mean that you have to tell her about all your secrets.
Number2, and if you do tell her your secrets, you have the right not to tell her completely everything that goes on with your life, because sometimes a person feels better when he keeps something to himself in stead of saying it to others.
So what you should do is, to make sure that you apologized and promised that next time you will tell her before any one else knows,and because you guys are really good and close friends, and i know it, then she will believe in what you say, and in a day or two, she will come around,and she'll start talking as if nothing happened, but on the other hand, when she does that, you'll still have to keep your promise.
