I was having sex and I think the condom rubbed me or cut me!
Question Posted Wednesday July 12 2006, 7:51 pm
My boyfriend and I were having sex. The condom wasn't lubricated and it was pretty dry. I just went to the bathroom and I was bleeding a little and it hurts. I think I've gotten like, a condom burn or it cut me or something. Is it anything to worry about? Will it heal? Or will it make me anymore lose?
Well, first of all, was this the first time you've had sex? If it is, then it is normal to have some bleeding because it might have "popped your cherry."
If not, then it is possible that the dry condom did irritate your vagina and caused some bleeding. Deffinitely go see a doctor if it continues to happen! And in the future, use lube because a dry condom is MUCH more likely to break because of friction... not to mention that it HURTS if it's dry! Lubricated condoms won't be enough... go to the store and buy some lubricant to put on the condom. You will find it in the section with the condoms... buy the one that says it is safe to use with condoms! That should deffinitely help! :)
P.S. When you are putting the lube on the condom, be careful not to scrape the tip of the bottle against it juuusstt in case! Let me know if you have any other questions! [ loves2shop86's advice column | Ask loves2shop86 A Question ]

Adviceguy158 answered Wednesday July 12 2006, 10:01 pm: It is very important that you are lubed up when you have sex. It is also best to use a lubricated condom as well which kind of helps, but isn't good enough. You should have lube on your vagina and a lube on the condom. Put as much as you can on both. This should hopefully stop the bleeding. [ Adviceguy158's advice column | Ask Adviceguy158 A Question ]
