Well it tell's that he hasn't pressured you to do anything you haven't wanted to do (I dont think) so maybe talk to him about him, ask him if he's ready and ask him if he would wait until you <b> are </b> ready. Try to see if he's loyal to your desicions which im sure he will be understanding since you have been with each other for a year. Just talk to him about it and see if you are ready.
