hi. im a 14/f. i got my period for the first time on may. it lasted for 10 days, and then after 15 days i got it again, then it lasted for 7 days.and then 14 days later i got it again. my mom says that it is supposed to take more time until a get it each month. i just want to know if my period is normal or is it under control or something. also what are better to use..tampons or pads? thank u

You will have an irregualr period for awhile, everyone does. Trust me.
When it comes to tampons and pads, pads suck because you feel like your wearing a diaper, and they can stick to your butt. But With Tampons If you don't put them in right you can get problems. There is aslo something called TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrom)That can be fatal. You can get that when you wear Tampons. So if you decide to wear them be careful. I personally recomend Pads.

Okay now when you first get your period you will be irregular untill about after 2 years of having it. Also it is up to you which you prefer on the whole tampon vs. pads. Also a lot of people say that tampons give you TSS but that is not very likely unless you leave it in for too long, if you jam it up to high, or some of the scented ones will do it too. Hope for the best!

it is better to use pads becuase tampons cause tss (toxic shock sydome). That is not normal to have all in one month. Get it check out!!!
