Crisps in moderation aren't bad for you at all. So about 2, maybe 3 bags a week are okay, however I'm getting the impression you eat them daily, perhaps more than once.
You've got yourself into a bad habit. Luckily, it's easy to correct :)
At first, it might be hard to stick to, but apparently, after about 3 weeks, you will have trained yourself to no longer feel the need to eat crisps as much as you do now.
When you feel like eating them, eat some kind of fruit instead. Or snack on differet types of nuts/seeds. Of course you might find it hard at first, but you'll feel so much better once you've succeeded.
Also, for treats and special occasions when you do eat them, substitute them for low fat ones etc. Good luck!
