best friend and girl friend sorta

Hi,
I have a problem me and my best friend kelsey,(yes its a girl) we've been friends for a while and after spending time with her i realized i loved her, what should i do

well you don't want to just tell her flat out, because that might shock her and then she might try to avoid you. i would slowly start flirting with her. since you are friends, it will be easy for you to call her and hang out with her. maybe invite her to go to a movie with you, but don't make it a romantic movie, try making it scary so maybe you can hold her hand :] but just start flirting with her, and after a while when you think it is a good time, just ask her to the movies and say as a date. there really is no wrong or right way to do this. just whatever you do don't just go right up to her and tell her that you love her.
