this morning i went to the doctors office to get treated for my sore throat and coughing. She told me that it wasn't a big deal and it was just allergies. when i got home i went to sleep and when I woke up I noticed that I had a 102.4 fever. is it normal to have a fever with allergies? what do you think?
Additional info, added Friday June 30 2006, 8:47 pm: also, when I went to the doctors office, she checked my temperature and I didn't have a fever. i'm planning to go out tonight and I was wondering could my friends catch whatever I have?. Nallie answered Saturday July 1 2006, 1:39 am: This is allergy season, so without a temp I could see why the Dr was wrong. In fact a 102.4 temp is a little bit higher than I would expect to see with a cold. Most of the time a fever like that would be associated with the flu. As long as you are coughing, and have a temp yes you are probably contagious. Call the Dr back and tell her about the fever, she might be able to prescribe something over the phone or will request a return visit. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]

You shoulg go to the doctor, and for your throat try lemon with honey. It's good for it and it's not all that bad. [ H3arts_Collid3's advice column | Ask H3arts_Collid3 A Question ]
