Okay umm im 13/f and going into the 8th grade and ive never had a boyfriend while all my friends have. and this year there is an 8th grade dance that like a "everybodys gonna be there thing" im kinda shy around boys like to ask them out but not like just regular friends. its hard becase its embarrassing if someone asks you if youve ever had a bf and you say no. i really want a bf this year but i dont know if my parents will allow it. theyve never told me im not allowed to have a bf but i wouldnt go to them and be like guess what i have a bf cos theyd be like WHAT? but i think i can easily keep that away from them. can u just give me advice on what to do to get a bf or what to say to people when i dont or never had/have a bf. thanks

Don`t push into a relationship right away. Talk to them become friends for awhile and take things slow. When the time comes and you feel like it`s ready to go on the next step ask him out or i`m sure he`ll ask you out! =) If you want decide if you want to bring up to your parents before or after you start dating, tell them you want to start dating or you met someone but you want to know if they can meet him or something like that. Also, if people ask you if you've had a boyfriend, tell them you haven't started dating and your not ready. They should understand. ♥ Have fun.
