An ad I heard on the radio

Question Posted Friday June 30 2006, 2:08 am

Random: I heard this ad on the radio that I thought was really funny and I want to know the rest...it was about bad poetry and joining the military...part of it was:

Love.
Love not.
Love Gone.
I watch a clown sadly sing.
Jenny gets a haircut.
Splat. Falling.
Seagulls sing me a lullaby.
Caw-caw!
Box of cereal promises a suprise.
Caw-caw!
No toy inside. I weep. I weep.

If you haven't heard this you'd think I was crazy but I swear...I'm not. Please, does anyone know the full version?

Dear Friend,

I can't say I've heard the ad. Sounds pretty bizarre - why would they associate bad poetry with joining the military?

Anyway, I tried Googling the words, but no results turned up. You could always try contacting the radio station directly. Call in an off-peak time [somewhere between noon and evening] and you'll find that most of the phone monkeys will be up for a chat.

Happy hunting.

Love,

Ainsley.
