im losing weight and shes not.

Question Posted Tuesday June 27 2006, 11:13 am

So one of my friends and I have everynight been exercising and trying to eat healthy.
And its finally starting to show in our abs, that we've been doing crunches and ab workouts.
My other friend whos not exactly in shape, always tells us negative things abotu what were doing, its like she acts like she doesnt want us to lose weight?

I think she might be jealous, but still, she can exercise and stuff too right?

What do you think is going on?

Additional info, added Tuesday June 27 2006, 8:31 pm:
But we exercise at our own homes most of the time, not together, and whenever we mention exercising to her, she always says .. "i'll do it later" and stuff like that, and it makes no sense, because she shouldnt be mad if we are getting healthier because shes not trying.
We even offered to go jogging together or something but she doesnt want to do that, she sets up goals and never follows through even if we try to movitave her.
And it sucks when shes always putting us down.

Your friend may be upset that you and your other friend didnt invite her to do the "workout sessions" with you all...she probobly feels a little left out.

Tell her that excercing can be fun if you make it. All 3 of you should get together turn up the music, talk about random things, and EXCERCISE! really it can be fun hehe!...Ocasioanlly my friends and i do those things..it acutally turns out to be better then goin to the movies or other things like that! :D happy excercsing :D

I think that your friend is a little jealous. She could either be..

A) Jealous that you are finally starting to get into shape and seeing results, and she's not.
B) You're spending a lot of time with your other friend and she may feel left out.

Convince your other friend that its fun to stay healthy, and invite her to one of your little 'sessions'. You guys could talk while you do your workouts and listen to upbeat music.

Hope I helped!

hmm it could be that. don't listen to her though. maybe she juss feels left out because you guys are losing weight together & she's not. try inviting her over so you guys can do exercises together er something. if not, talk to her about it & juss leave it go from there.

-hope that helped!♥
