as far as the cost of birth control, it depends on 3 things. first of all, do you have health insurance? if you do, then the pills can cost you anywhere from 0 to as much as 40 dollars per month, depending on how much your insurance company will cover. it is also possible that your insurance doesn't cover birth control pills or you don't have health insurance... in that case, depending on the brand and where you buy them, they will cost you between 20 dollars per month to as much as 60. there are many generic brands and they are the cheaper ones, so if paying for them is a problem, let the doctor know that before he/she writes the prescription and they will write it for a cheaper brand. sometimes at planned parenthood you might even get them for free, depending on your financial situation! :) [ loves2shop86's advice column | Ask loves2shop86 A Question ]
