"popping your cherry"

okay, this may sound sick but i know what popping your cherry is...but does it hurt that badly? im 18 and i have never had sex....and i have decided i want to with my boyfriend of 4 years. but when you rip your hymen or whatever why does it hurt so bad?? if you could answer that that would be great thanks!!

i have never heard that popping your cherry hurts so bad, just sex for the first time in general is not usually pleasureful for the girl. you can rip your hymen many different ways, bike riding, horseback riding, etc...
