so my friend told me to put the words "Via Hiptop" in my AIM profile. what does that mean?

via hiptop
a phrase which appears in the profile of someone connected to AIM with a hiptop device, such as a T-Mobile Sidekick, Sidekick II, Sidekick LE, hiptop, hiptop2, etc. The hiptop is the brainchild of Danger. Learn more about the hiptop at hiptop.com.
