Electric fans are very cheap. Air conditioners are a little more expensive, but you don't have to pay a lot for a good one. You can also open windows, wear light clothing, take a shower, or go outside and turn on the hose or sprinkler. You can make ice cubes, put them in a plastic bag and hold that on your head. And drink a lot of water so you don't get dehydrated! Don't fan yourself with your hand or a paper fan, that actually makes you hotter because you're moving.
