need help with friends

so i have this one friend who i sumtimes hang out with but not alot. lately i want new friends and i dunno how to hang out with her more without her thinking im using her. help!

just slowly start hanging out with her more. if you IM people, talk to her online and be friendly to her. ask her if she wants to hang out sometimes and spend more time with her. if you just slowly start doing stuff with her, she wont get as suspicious as if you just randomly jump into her circle of friends. hope I helped!
