OH I cant stand my nails, they are kind of crooked. You cant tell by looking from the top. But if you look at them as if I was pointing at you you can se the tip looks all crooked. Why are my nails like that?! And how can I fix them? Is it nutrition problems? And how can I fix them?I have searched the internet like crazy but found nothing. PLease help me.
Additional info, added Thursday June 8 2006, 9:35 pm: I tried to file them down but they just grow back crooked. It is the tip that shows that my nails are crooked but not from a top view. From looking at them from the front as if I was pointing straight at you. To imagine point at your self and look at the tip of your nail it should have a normal curve, mine has like a dent look to.. Tulipg17 answered Friday June 9 2006, 7:49 am: I have that too, it is 99% genetic and 1% due to a possible injury. In terms of nutrition, a high protein diet will make you nails grow faster/stronger, but not more straight. If it really bothers you, try acrylics or silk wraps at the salon to cover them up. Everybody's nails are crooked in some way. Go to a nail salon and ask if they can do anything to help it. I'm sure they do.
Goodluck!
