Hello,
I was wondering of anyone knew how I can go about getting my GED online? Yes, I have Googled it, but, naturally their are a million things that come up & I want to make sure it is a reputable site and it would be all legitimate. So, I thought maybe if anyone has done this, they could point me in the right direction as to where to go online. Thanks.
Additional info, added Tuesday June 6 2006, 9:25 pm: A GED is basically equivalent to a high school diploma.. Want to answer more questions in the Work & School category? Maybe give some free advice about: Colleges & Universities? Tulipg17 answered Wednesday June 7 2006, 8:36 am: Who the hell doesn't know what a GED is. I guess children don't.
Anyhow, the GED is a test, and it's pretty general (and easy). Anything you get online about "preparing" is overpriced and probably not needed. Your local library or community college (or high school) will give you testing dates and info (the test will cost something, but it isn't obscene). I would try to take the test first, and then if you don't pass you will know exactly which areas you need to study up on, and you can get books out of the library for free that will help you on those areas before you retest.
