How do you effectively find someone's screen name?

Question Posted Monday June 5 2006, 3:51 pm

How do you effectively find someone's screen name? I read what your answer was to a previous person, but when I submit all the info I've got, it tells me there's too broad of an answer. I then hit the "Finish" button and it disappears, I want it to come back! HELP!!

That's the best you can do then. You'll have to ask the person what their screen name is, or if you don't want to ask them, ask a mutual friend or one of your friends that knows it.

Do you know their e-mail? If so you could use that. Or do you know some of their common interests that they may have used, you can search that. If not, then I assume you searched them by name and address.
Most likely you know their first and last name. That usually cuts out a lot of people. Your friend must have a common last name. You would obviously know their city and state, most likely it's the same as yours. So you entered that right? Zip code too? And country (same as yours I would guess) The only thing you didn't enter was nicknames, you never know what they're going to put, unless of course you do. And make sure that whatever you know them by is their real first name and not their middle name or nickname.

If that still doesn't work, all I can say is that you'll have to ask them or someone else who would know.
