Now that your husband is unemployed, and depending on if you are working or not, and how much you make, you may qualify for state assistance. (I am guessing with 5 kids-you would). Please see your local social services to see what help you'd qualify for. They may even pay for a drug rehab inpatient program. Best of luck to you and your family, you certainly deserve to get back on your feet and have your husband be drug free. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]

Here are quite a few places that might help him. here is a website where you enter in information about your husband and set up a time for them to call you to see about having him commited to a drug-rehab facility. I couldn't find any free rehab services but most will accept insurance if your husband is covered and you have little out of pocket expense. I know you may think I cant afford that but the long term use of him feeding his addiction will cost your family a whole lot more in the long run and not just the money to support his habit but your kids not really having a father, possible jail time if he should get caught, bail money, court costs, not to mention it destroying your kids along the way. I really do wish you the best of luck. [ kristen22's advice column | Ask kristen22 A Question ]
