hey, i'm a 14 female and my BEST friend who is a girl told me today that she loves me. a lot. the strange thing is that i don't really think she's necessarily bi (she deff. likes guys) but yet she likes me. you know how some people say there's a spectrum of sexuality and some people are completely straight or completely gay or literally anywhere in between? i dont' think she likes girls that much but... i dont know what to do. she's been really depressed lately and i still don't think differently of her but i definitely don't feel exactly the same way she does. this is all very confusing and i'm so sorry i don't make much sense... but anything as to what i could say or do would help a lot. thanks. :D

I mean, she's your best friend, so wouldn't you know the answer or at least try to figure it out.Sshe probably said she loves you as a friend. I tell my friends i love them all the time because they mean a lot to me, and it's strictly in a friendly manner, and they know that. If questioning yourself doesn't work, you should ask her and say "when you told me you love me, did you mean it in a friend way, or more than a friend?"
I'm sure her answer would be "as a friend" but if it's more than a friend and you still need help, feel free to leave me one in my inbox :)
