inserting a tampon!
I hate using pads, they are useless. I was wondering if you could help me on how to use a tampon. The thought of it is scary i am 14 and i wear pads. i tried putting in a tampon but i cant find the hole. where do i put it? help me please thank you x

Okay, well most boxes have the directions on them, so I would definitly use those. Honestly,I have yet to use a tampon (at least not on a regular basis, I use them occasionally). I've bought them, but I haven't gotten my period since buying them - crazy, I know. But yeah, don't get the cardboard ones, they totally SUCK! They're really uncomfortable to insert. I do suggest tampax pearl, I've tried tampons in the past and I like those the best. Pretty much all I can tell you is find the whole, it shouldn't be too hard, it's where you bleed from and where the discharge comes from. Once you find it (it's in the middle of your pee hole and butt hole) you slide it in facing it back a little bit until the you reach about half way (you'll notice the part when you get there) then you push the rest of it in from the bottom until only the string is left sticking out. If it feels uncomfortable when it's in, wait a few seconds and if it's still uncomfortable then take it out by gently pulling the string and try again.
I reread your question and you are pretty much just asking me where the whole is. Well feel around, or if you really want to, just use a mirror. I've never done that, but it makes sense haha.
Anyway, my instructions may be a little confusing, but if you get the tampons they should come with instructions on or inside the box. Those instrucions will most likely be easier to follow.
