BEAUTiFUL_DiSASTER_xo answered Monday May 29 2006, 7:28 pm: It's hard to tell if a purse is real or fake because people these days can make knockoffs that look exactly like the real thing. Well, obviously the quality of the real one will be a little better. So if the quality is cheap looking, then it's fake. Also, search the purse you want on google and print it out and if you see it in NY and you want to know if it's real, take out the picture you printed and see if they look exactly the same. If there's any differences, then it's fake! Also, you can easily tell it's fake without looking at it when someone claims to tell you that they have a real Coach or Louie bags when they are selling them for $20!! If you bought the bag for $500 and then sold it for $20 you'd be LOSING money. If it was real, they would be selling it for the price they are in the stores! It's like getting a real diamond ring for over $1000 and then selling it for $35! It would be REALLY stupid, and no one is that stupid when it comes to money. So basically you can tell by the prices *sometimes.*
But if you only buy real bags, then instead of going to a flea market or NY, go to the designer store! Like go to the Coach store or D&B store so you KNOW that they are real! Don't take the chance that it's real if you arn't sure!
