Eye contact & How do you know when he wants to...

Question Posted Sunday May 28 2006, 6:47 pm

How do you know when a guy you're just hanging out with one night wants to kiss you? Like, when he wants to, but didn't/won't.

This guy and I were on the couch & he was laying behind me, & we were watching tv. He'd be like, "staring contest, go!" so I'd turn my head & we'd have one & our faces were like an inch away.. ok, well, maybe a little more than that but we were really close. He kept looking at my lips. That doesn't mean anything, right? He looked like he was really tired, lol, it was so cute. I don't know if he likes me or anything, though.

& I get kinda nervous so I suck at making eye contact. And when I do, I'll start laughing. Tips?

dear Dont know if he wants to,

umm, if hes looking at your lips constantly he must want to kiss you could always ask if you can kiss him and or wait for him to ask you that question. If hes dropping you hints that he likes you, you should assume he likes you. I think you should just go for it one day lean in and oucker uo or first off just kiss him on the cheek to tell him your interested.

sincerely,

Hippaculicious

eye contact is seriously one of the best inventions known to man. if you can make strong eye contact with a guy you'll definitly pull him in. it'll make him more curious and want to know more about you. it'll let him know that your confident and and aware of your surroundings. everyones been nervous and done the whole, looking down and laughing deal. it takes practice i guess but you CAN do it. i dono what to say about him liking you or not. if its hard for you though, you can kinda work in some of your own initial reactions [giggling, looking away] into it. like make it a cute eye contact. look him straight into the eyes for just a second or two, smile and look away and start doing something else. he'll notice you for sure. after a while, it wont be so hard.

hope i helped <3

all guys are different. you can't really say "oh he likes you" er "oh he wants to kiss you" because we don't know him, plus we probably wouldn't be able to tell. the best thing to do would ask him. yes, you may get a little weirded out er embarrased, but that's the only way you'll find out. you don't want to be shy & miss out. you should make eye contact though. you wouldn't wanna be talking to him & he stares at something else ya know?? juss work on it. you'll eventually get it.

-hope that helped!♥
