How do you know when a guy you're just hanging out with one night wants to kiss you? Like, when he wants to, but didn't/won't.
This guy and I were on the couch & he was laying behind me, & we were watching tv. He'd be like, "staring contest, go!" so I'd turn my head & we'd have one & our faces were like an inch away.. ok, well, maybe a little more than that but we were really close. He kept looking at my lips. That doesn't mean anything, right? He looked like he was really tired, lol, it was so cute. I don't know if he likes me or anything, though.
& I get kinda nervous so I suck at making eye contact. And when I do, I'll start laughing. Tips? (link)

dear Dont know if he wants to,
umm, if hes looking at your lips constantly he must want to kiss you could always ask if you can kiss him and or wait for him to ask you that question. If hes dropping you hints that he likes you, you should assume he likes you. I think you should just go for it one day lean in and oucker uo or first off just kiss him on the cheek to tell him your interested.

It seems silly to start off with, "I have this friend who..." but unfortunately that is the case. I , in fact, HAVE a friend who is severly overparented. Her mother has always been a beast of burden, constantly calling, worrying, ranting about how she's being rude or distant or gaining weight (she's 5'9 and 110 lbs btw). The constant nagging never ends. The biggest problem is that she's 20 years old now and it hasn't stopped. She had to come back from college because of an illness and now has to stay with her family until her treatment is over. She has a 10:00pm curfew because her mother refuses to go to bed until she's home. She calls every hour to make sure she takes her pills and asks where she is and what she's doing and whom she's with. My friend has, of course, addressed the issue, but her mother is so consumed by denial that when her daughter says, "You hurt my feelings" she simply gives a condescending laugh and replies, "No I don't." It's really that bad. All the research i've done on over-parenting seems to focus on a child's first years. She is almost 21! She has a younger sister who gets the same treatment. And unfortunately this constant smothering has left her with very little confidence to break away or stand up to herself. If anyone has any personal experience (on either side of the issue), comments, or advice, it's much appreciated. On yes, and her mother says she's simply too busy for family therapy. (link)

Im sorry your mom is so protective of you,if your that skinny you should seriously think about putting on weight rather than losing i. If your mom is really that worried about you and your sisters safety show her that you are responsible, then she will give more freedom when you aren't.

I think that you and your boyfriend need to spend more time together because it seems like one of you wants to continue the relationship and one doesn't or does but isnt willing to push forward. . You could be pushing on him too hard and thats why he wants to back out..its always a poosibility... but its probably because Some people just think that when the going gets tough the easiest way is to end it. But all I think is that you guys need to sit down and talk about your feelings and remember what brought you guys together in the first place. Don't avoid the problems try and solve them. I mean 8 months..WOW thats good, I wish you two luck : )

i love to sing and i have a really nice voice. but i cant get over my fear of singing. i want to be in my Spring Musicals and definatley Sing for my 8th grade year at the talent show. i joined chior so that can help and it has. i had a solo to do but it wasnt infront of alot of people. im afraid if i will freeze up infront of tons of people. any ideas on how i can make sure im over it and how to get over it just in case im not. i also sing with my instructor but its easy not singing infront of a little bit of people. so if you have any tips please tell me. i want to do this and not freeze up. Well I can totally relate. This probably wont help but when I was in 4th grade i sang a solo and puked in a gurls hair afterwards, but in 8th grade for a talent show I sang a song ocapella (without music) and I did perfect because before I went on stage and before I went on I jumped around and talked with my friends, which helped alot. anyways back to you, yeah you'll have butterflies in your stomache but theyll go away. JUst pretend that your in your shower singing to yourself but really concentrate hard and you'll do great. Hope I helped

hey guys. I am 14f, a freshman in high school, and my bf is 15m and a freshman in high school. he is alsmo 16 and i am almost 15. Well, we have been together for about 3 months. I like him alot. For Christmas he got me this necklace and I got him a stuffed animal (a snow tiger because he said it was his favorite..but i accidently thought leoperds were the same thing hehe. but that is another story). So anyways I wanted to know what you guys think I should get him for valentines day. i really dont want to get him another stuffed animal..cause that will be old. do you think he will like jewlery? i dont know if that is appropiate for a guy. i really dont know how to burn cds, so that is out of the questions, and i dont like to take pictures. hehe so does anybody have any ideas? thanks! You could get him a box of chocolates or candy with a cute card or you could give him another stuffed animal or his favorite cologne or spray. Or even a sweatshirt would be okay. Anyways yeah I think im struggling from the same problem with my boyfriend. But i think ill take the stuffed animal chiocie and get him a cute card. well i hope i helped, sorry if I didn't!

i hate my hair like so much! its wavy and frizzy and i usually straighten it with an iron, but lately ive been wanting to change it and give my ahir a break. i want to know:
1. whats a good hair product to use when you straigten your hiar with a straightening iron so you dont get split ends?
2. are there any othe hairstlyes i can use that dont take much time? (link)

Yeah I agree with the other columnist other wise suave has some nice products for that too. If you wanted to put your hair up in a messy bun that doesnt take oo much time or even putting a clip in it like a haf ponytail kind of. Or you could even just put little braids in it those are always fun. I dont know what else to tell you besides what i do after i straighten my hair i take my curling iron and out little spirals in some of my hair so there noticeable but hidden at the same time. if those dont work im sorry.
