I am 14, and about 5'7'', and weigh 140. is that too much? cause lately, i have started feeling better about my body because I am very athletic. Currently I am on 2 sports teams, out excerising almost every day/night. Also, what are some ways you would reccomend to work on upper leg/buttocks areas? I think cellulite is the main thing bugging me in that area, and also my stomach. My school is going to dorney in less than a week, and I would like to just slightly change how I look for that. Thank you in advance! <3
Have you ever heard of the BMI scale? It calculates your "Body Mass Index", and gives you a number. Depending on how this number fits into the scale, you can tell whether you are overweight, underweight, or at the 'desirable' weight. Here is the scale:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
Your BMI is 21.9. You're pretty much at the perfect weight.
But I know how it feels to be considered at a good weight and still feel like crap on a stick about yourself. If you really feel like you want to tone some of your body, try sitting down on your floor before you go to bed, and doing 100 crunches. Not only will it get you in shape, you'll feel better about yourself. As for your upper legs, that's really something that needs to be toned using a machine, like a stationary bike at the YMCA, or your house. If you don't have access to one, try squats, they hurt like hell, but they work!
If you're only 14, you don't have cellulite, I promise. That's something that only adults and older teens get.
So, good luck, and keep playing sports, those are the perfect way to lose weight!
