i <3 u or i love you?

okay if you dont talk to you boyfriend that much and he WRITES i <3 u on a piece of paper and gives it to you....does it still count as him really saying i love you? i know its a stupid question but i just wanna know.

I < 3 you and I love you are the same but i think the I love you means so much more and that he is serious about it. I think it still means he loves you because maybe he thought you would like the heart better or think its sweeter but it could also mean that he isnt as serious about loving you sorry if i didnt help much but you should ask him if he still loves you the same way or if its dieing for him. I dont think he would mind the question. Hope i helped.
