i have a JVC 250x video camera & i want to be able to edit the things i tape on the computer. what is an inexpensive program i can find at a store like staples or walmart? i want something not hard to use & not too much money. also, do they come with the wire to hook it up to the computer, because i don't think i have one. if not, where can i get one?

It depends on what computer you have-I have a Mac and it comes with software. Chances are, you have a PC.

My dad is a professional editor, and he uses Avid and Final Cut Pro. I don't know how expensive these are, but you couls always google:

And no, no software comes with a cable. You should have gotten those, and wherever you buy the software will probably have knowledgable sales staff to assist you in purchasing the appropriate accessories.
