Okay personally in my opinion if the dance is that important to you then i would want to go too if i were you. I think if you really want to then you should. Okay, the problem is getting your parents to let you go after the doctor said you shouldn't. Here are my suggestions. First of all try to be cooperative with your parents and doctor through it all. Rest up well after the surgery and act ok and like you are doin great! Then kinda bring it upon them slowly. If you really want them to say yes then try to get along with them and be ice so there is a chance they will let you. Make sure they know how important this dane is to you and so things like PROMISE you will rest up well before and after. I do think you deserve to go, every girl does (especially since you have a date). Now just work on getting your parents permission to go.
