Broken Condom?

Question Posted Tuesday May 16 2006, 9:20 am

Fair warning this isn't a "omg am I pregnant? question"

Well I had sex with a long time friend, the condom broke and we both noticed it as soon as it happened. I'm not worried about being pregnant, because I have all the signs that my period is going to start soon.

Anyway it happened on Saturday night, well since the condom broke is there any chance that a tiny part of the condom, is still inside me? Since it broke and it may have like torn a piece got stuck to the inside of my vagina? Or should I not really worry about?

Thank you in advance.

Yes there is a slight possibility. If a piece was to break off inside you your vagina would eventually force it out without you knowing. Its a process that is constantly happening. It usually takes about 1-3 days.
Hope this helps!

Don't worry about it.

If that were a problem with them they wouldn't be able to sell any. And, there would be a warning of the possibility on the label. :)

It's technically possible but no cause for concern, unless you happen to be allergic to latex (in which case you would already know). Your body is designed to work such things out in due time.
