eyeliner

Question Posted Saturday May 13 2006, 5:17 pm

Hey has anyone got any techniques to make eyes look more oval and upward slanting (oes it make any difference if you put it over the top lashes? if so I need insructions lol), and also to suggest eyeliners that stay on throughtout half the day at least.

well,it looks great on the top,yes putting it on the top gives your eye more defience and"pop".=)

ok,for the top- pull your top eyelid so its straight,so, you would pull the corner of your top lid (the corner near your nose) outward.and the corner (near your ear/hair) out ward also. (its tricky, you can only use one hand!)

Next, grab the eye liner you want,(pencil is best**) and start in the middle of the lid.Work your way across the eye till you get to one of the corners.then stop.

then put your pencil back in the middle and do the same for the other side.you decide the thickness of the line :).

Club A works great, also Victorias Secret and Clinique.

to make the eye look more oval shaped lightly line the bottom and the top.I was thinking,if you want to try it,instead of just stopping at the corner(the one near you ear)go outward just a LITTLE more on the top and bottom. And dont use a black (its too overwelming),use either a brown* or a brown/black color.

I rarely wear makeup so I'm not sure about suggesting eyeliner, but when I do I only really wear it to the sides. Make sure you don't outline the whole bottom lashline. Just start about in the middle or 1/4 into your lash from the inside and blend it to the outside of your eye. Also I think if the eyeliner is thinker on the sides than on the bottom, it will help make your eyes more oval. I also don't put as much on my upper lash either. If you want your eyes to look like their kind of pointed up instead of down, just put some of the eyeliner in wear your lids meet like you're going to do a cat's eye, but not drastic at all. maybe like that, but probably less drastic/thinner since I don't think you are going for a 'darkpromnight' look.
