shaving my legs =/
im 12 and im too embarassed 2 ask my mom if i can start shaving my legs idk why but whenever i wanna go ask her i end up not doing it...its just to embarassing for me. yesterday at school at lunch time i was sitting by my friend and i put my foot on the chair (i was wearing capris) and she saw my leg and shes like do you shave? and im like yea but i was 2 tired last night to shave and shes like ok w/e and its not fair cuz every1 shaves except 4 me!!!!!!!!! any tips?!?!!!!? thanks!!!

hey. it was the same case for me when i was your age. i was so scared to ask my mom if i could start. i finally worked up the guts to ask her one night and we talked it over. she told me that if i shaved my legs, the hair would come back darker and thicker. i didnt care because i wanted to be able to shave like everyone else. just discusses with your mom on how you feel uncomfortable with your legs. she will probally thank you for being honest and she will understand. if you do start, there are a few things to know about shaving: shaving cream is amazing. soap can leave your legs dry. you should replace razor blades about once every 2-3 weeks depending on how much you use it. make sure you take your time because you dont want to cut yourself. i use a shick razor and skintamate shaving cream. hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥
