my exboyfriend and I have been broken up for a little less than 2 months. We see each other every weekend at work. At first it was really awkward, but lately things have been getting better... almost to the way they were when we were dating. In fact, last weekend he told me that he comes to work to see me. We spent a few hours working just with each other and he seemed to be finding excuses to come talk to me. He told me that his grandmother, mother, and sister are all annoyed with him for breaking up with me. Then, when we were goofing around, he wrestled with me playfully, and then pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ear "do you still miss me? Do you?" I didn't answer because I didn't want to seem pathetic, but the truth is I do. I don't understand him, are his actions proof that he misses me and wants to be with me? Or is he just playing head games? Any advice is appreciated, this whole situation is driving me crazy.

LouellaWalters26 answered Thursday May 11 2006, 2:26 pm: Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, hon. But, it sounds to me like he may still like you. Almost like, he realized things out there weren't so great & he is not finding what he had with you. He had his fun & now (hopefully) he is ready to get serious. But, that doesn't mean you should jump back into it so soon. Also, is he calling you or trying to get with you any other time other than work? If not, you may just be his work "buddy" & he doesn't want things to be uncomfortable between you two. Just lag back for a little while & wait for more signs to see if he is being sincere. Believe me, when something happens, you'll know! I hope I helped at least a little. Best wishes. [ LouellaWalters26's advice column | Ask LouellaWalters26 A Question ]
