ok,
i CAN buy & download music on my iTunes.i CAN listen to it on iTunes.And i CAN connect my ipod to my computer.But the songs i download on iTunes will not transfer to my ipod!! on the screen of the ipod it says "do not disconnect" and it wont stop saying that.then it says on itunes "another user on this computer is useing the Ipod software. So iTunes is unable to communicate with this iPod.Please ask the other user to log out" no one is on itunes besides me!!! and i have the CD for it also!! why is it not letting me transfer my songs to my ipod?
ps- my friend gave me a cd she burned of her ipod's songs,and i tried putting it on itunes but it didnt transfer,so i deleted the songs.

Maybe give some free advice about: Computers? beachhun101 answered Monday May 8 2006, 4:09 pm: thats happened with me before, the user thing, but you have to go on everyone's settings on your computer and log out of them. and you can be the only one whos settings is on. your computer should recognize there is a CD in the drive and it should pop up on itunes. then you click on the import circle on the upper right hand side and the songs should go into itunes. when you plug your ipod in into the computer, make sure you click update ipod. if your songs still won't import, then redo the whole thing of initiating your ipod to the computer and getting itunes. check the apple website if you have further problems:

also if you actually think there is something wrong with the ipod itself, then go to an apple store and they should figure it out. my battery ran out so they replaced it for 30$.
