MFS answered Thursday May 4 2006, 7:41 pm:
It is possible for certain OTC cold medications to cause a false positive for amphetamines - decongestants are closely related structurally to the amphetamine family of drugs. However, your drug submission should have asked you what medications you have been taking - giving you the opportunity to disclose any OTC medications that could cause an aberrant result.
