Hi. You had just answered one of my questions about prom and i really liked your reponse. So I have came to you again. My boyfried and I have decided that we are gonna rent a hotel room for just the 2 of us. We've had sex so thats not a big issue for me. ITs the i dont know what to tell my mom part and what else to do. Like to him romantic is... let me bring u breakfast in bed. Very cute. But romantic to me is THE NOTEBOOK romantic. We live in well not the boondocks but around the St louis area in a small town where theres not much to do. Our prom is in STL so were just going to the arch and like doing a horse and carraige ride i guess and going to the hotel. I really dont want to tell him what to do but I want this night to be very romantic for us... What are your suggestions about doing it. And what should i tell my mom I really dont wanna be like... uh Im staying at a friends house because she has those #s for right now im saying were going to afterprom which in reality lasts till 5. Then were gonna "go to IHOP" and have breakfast which will get me to like 6 30 AM. But i do want longer to sleep in with my baby and then to really go out for breakfast together. What you think? Thanks itll help me alot.

thans for coming back to me :] first off - if you want to do something like super special with your boyfriend- then you should have half the say on what you guys wanna do. i think you should see what you think is the most romantic thing you wanna do and then casually bring the idea up. be like " hey, i was thinking about doing blahblah on prom fight or for prom" or somrthing liek that and just see what he thinks. most likely he will agree and say somelike like "okay cool". the notebook is super romantic - but keep in mind, breakfast in bed is romantic too :] and for the thing with your mom, although i do think that you should tell your mom the truth, i know thats not always possible and she wont always understand. you could just say that the afterprom lasted a little longer than you thought. or that you had some driving problems and you needed to pick up some friends. im sure you will think of something creative though =)
