I know this because I had a abortion at 17 and at 23 got pregnant and miscarried. Back in the day, there was no thought put behind abortion, as far as being able to get pregnant in the future, everyone assumed that you just could with no complications, but sadly, that's not true. Here are some statistics for you.
Some women are physically damaged from the abortion, and a few are even left permanently infertile.
Physical Effects
• Intense pain
• Sterility (inability to conceive)
• Bleeding
• Perforation of the uterus
• Laceration of the cervix
• Shock/coma
• Increased risk (50%) of breast cancer
• Passing blood clots
• Death
• Miscarriages of future pregnancies
• Increased risk of ectopic (tubal) pregnancies
I totally know what she is going through. Just be there for her. Going thru this not only has it's physical side effects but has mental one's as well. Such as depression, fear, Uncontrolled crying, guilt, obsession wit baby's due date, and mourning, sense of loss. If you want to know more you can go to.. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Many times, after a few abortions, a woman is unable to get pregnant at all. Don't worry too much about it. Your sister probably isn't in any danger. There are many women who have difficult pregnancies who are otherwise fine, but she really should be talking to a doctor about it. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
