Hey I'm an eigth grade girl and i have a major problem!! I just got in a big fight with this mean girl and now we are enemies. anyway we both like the same boy. i think he might like me too, but i want him to ask me out. how do i get him to ask me out and not her?

If this girl thinks that you can't BOTH like the same boy, then she's a jerk and you should ignore her. You could always apologize and tell her that it's up to the guy to decide, but if she really is a mean person, then just leave it alone.
If this girl is as mean and jelaous as she sounds, the guy you like, if he's smart, he'll realize this and might ask you out. You could try talking to him, just casual conversation. Whatever you do, DON'T try and get him involved with your fight with your friend.
It's really up to him. Just be yourself, and that should be good enough. Be confident around him, and let him decide. Don't try to be really flirty because it might freak him out. Just be yourself.

She could do something bad to make your chance of going out twith him even smaller. then try to flirt with the guy as much as possible and talk to him a lot. Just get to know him. Try to see if he can hang out. then you will just have to see how it works out in the end. [ dumbbrunette42's advice column | Ask dumbbrunette42 A Question ]
