Triple G coming at ya. Today we got our report cards. I got a 91.6. To some, that might actually sound good, but for me, it's bad. I used to have a 93. 8. My parents totally agreed that maybe they should talk to my teachers. Both of , them, not just the math. This hurts. For the 1st time in my whole history of grades, my grades actually went down. This has never happened in the history of my history. It's gonna take some time to get used to. My parents aren't mad. I mean, they expect me to do well, bcause i always do without stressing myself. But I don't want to do well. 80's are well, I want to be great. I wanna soar to high 90's and 100's. Doing well is what I do best, but I wanna go higher, and shine above the rest. Thank god, my SS teacher gave me 100 this term. It made up for the 5 points I loss from my math teacher. I hope she dies the most painful death there is out there. Just joking. As for science, you're right a little bit. For her grading system, quizzes are worth 60% of our grade. 75 is passing for our class. The test that brought me down was a 76. I still passed that test, although I spent a week of crying about such a low grade. Well, just wanted to talk, since I just came from school today with a big lonely apartemnt. If anything here seems like a time for advice, give your advice!
Perhaps it might be a good idea to really try to sort out what the problem has been. Have you spent less time on homework? Is this all the fault of your maths class? Is there a pattern emerging, or is this report card just a fluke?
If you identify what the problem might be, then you can start to figure out how to combat it and overcome it.
With high grades like yours, this one dip shouldn't affect you too much. If anything, it'll give you an opportunity to learn how to react to stressful news in a positive way. It's impossible to avoid the sometimes lows in life, so it's a good idea to start now to deal with them in a good way.
