There's this guy I like and I've been told he likes me but im to chicken to ask him, what do i do about it?

the last thing you want to do is ask him out yourself, as that reveals a desperate state.. what you should do is hang out with him, but give him "signs", such as laughing, extended eye contact, punching him if he makes fun of you.. etc.. if he reacts the same way, you know how he feels and it'd just be a matter of time till something real happens.. but if not, then you'll know that he doesn't feel the same for you and you should move on, since you can't do anything about it
