HELP I cant log into myspace.com from my computer

Question Posted Saturday April 22 2006, 5:39 pm

I have an account on myspace. About three weeks ago I went to log in and I got this error message:

Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.

This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group.

I can do anything on the site as long as it doesnt involve logging in. On the other hand if I get on my mom's computer or any other computer there is no problem logging in. I emailed the tech support at myspace over a week ago and still havent heard back. Its driving me crazy. Please, anyone with any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Additional info, added Saturday April 22 2006, 8:28 pm:
No chance of anyone blocking it nobody but me touches my computer. I ran SpyBot and AD-Aware and they cleaned some files out but no help there.

I havent been able to log in just over 3 weeks and it is driving me nuts.

I am having the exact same problem and myspace isn't returning my emails as well. I receive the same message when I try to log on. I haven't been able to log on from my computer in almost a month. It is frustrating. Can someone please help us figure this out. I have spent hours going through my firewall, spyware, virus scan, settings, etc. I can't figure it out! PLEASE HELP!

MySpace just does that every now and then. Actually, quite often. It's no problem on your end, it's MySpace that has the problem. No worries.

Gove it some time and then try logging back in in a little bit. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, or hours and sometimes it takes a few days before the message goes away.
This has happened to me a numerous amount of times. It usually goes away in a little while.

Since its been in the news so much lately...

What are the chances your parents might have blocked it on your computer somehow?

Actually, you are the second person to have a myspace problem like this recently. Maybe they are checking into accounts or something.

Best bet will be to wait and see what they have to say at tech support. Hopefully they get it resolved for you soon. Keep checking back and hopefully you can get in soon. :)
