I have these seven and nine year old cousins coming over for the first time and have no idea what to do with them. My childhood consisted of climbing trees but that is dangerous. Any suggestions? Thanks mucho!

Well, I took a Red Cross babysitting class. Not having a clue what to do is perfectly normal. There are three things that you must do to make a good babysitter...
1. Play with the kids!
2. Feed them, of course
3. Call the parents if you have and questions/problems...even if you may think the question is stupid..parents like people that ask questions, it shows that the babysitter wants to be as prepared as possible and wants to take care of the kids the best that she/he can
HAVE FUN!

kickball
wiffle ball
treasure hunt (or something sorta like hide and seek and easter egg huntish)
dodgeball
make ice cream sundaes
bake cookies
make a tree fort (out of just old sheets and stuff)
relay races
water gun fights
Those are some of the things i do with my cousins ages 10,6,5, and 2 and if you want im sure i can come up with more things for you if you like some of my ideas
