It really isn't that big of a deal. If you need to have physical contact with your boyfriend to satisfy you, then I suggest you slow down, drastically.
If he wants to do something like that with you, he will. But you shouldn't be the one to force him to do something even that small. But until then, all you can do is wait.

If you went out in the past then he is probably thinking that yall went wrong going to fast. So he may be trying not to make the same mistake twice.
If you don't think that yall went to fast in the past then I think you should tell him. So he will know.
