belly ring
i am 14/f and am getting a belly ring for my bday on thurday.
is there anything i should know about taking care of it?

i got my belly button pierced about a yr n a half ago, different places will tell you different things but i used normal dial soap and i cleaned it on average 4 to 5 times a day. One time it got infected and when that happens use sea salt each time uou clean it and it goes away pretty fast. Never put alcohol or anything like that on it, it burns a hole in your belly button - It happened to my friend no joke. It takes an extremely long time to heal about 6 months to 2 yrs so dont worry about the time frame, but never leave it out for a long time before youve had it done for a yr because it closes up really fast. And when you get it done dont be nervous at all it looks so scary because they clamp your stomach and lower you down but it actually hurts less than getting your ears done. When you first get it it seems like a pain but youll love it in the end
