Has anyone ever used the pillS called Vilantae and accutane, its supposed to help with face acne and stuff. If you have, has it worked? And, if you have used any other type of face products to rid of acne other then pro active please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.
Avari answered Thursday March 30 2006, 3:42 pm: I use accutane and the stuff is working wonders. I had acne REALLY bad and now it's SOO much better. The downside is that it makes my lips really chapped, but I use Aquaphor, which you can get at Walgreens. Those two combined will give you clear skin and nice lips, haha. I highly reccomend Accutane, but it WILL dry out your lips, so get Aquaphor or some other 'healing ointment' for skin. The accutane also made my skin very sensative to lotions, and it felt like it was burning if I used Olay or anything- you can also get CeraVe at most drug stores, and it's the only lotion I use on my skin with the accutane because it's for really sensative. But the best way to get rid of acne is probably any 3 step program that contains a fair share of salicic acid. I don't use proactive I use Loreal Pur Zone. It relly helps and it's cheap. And um...with loreal pure zone if you think the wash isn't strong or the beads aren't good enuff change to neutrogena invigoratin scrub...it does work!!
