So I read your answer you gave to this one person about how you need to like yourself in order for guys to like you. I have a problem with that. I always complain about how my life sucks because I'm not beautiful (because I promise, I'm not) --and now I'm scared that I messed up my chances with this guy in my class who heard me say it. I know he kinda likes me but he hasint really done anything about it yet. I mean, how can I make myself like me? I hate everything about me. I try to stop complaining because I'm sure people get sick of hearing it -- but then I start complaining again. Why cant guys not care if you hate yourself, and try to help you out with it? You know?
I just recieved your question and i will do my best to answer you. I want to point out to you are beautiful no matter what others think and no matter how you think when you look in the mirror. No one person is created to be as beautiful as betty in archies, or the so-called super models you see in magazines. Those are not real and are computerized images. Everyone is beautiful and unique in their own little way. Others may not see it but trust me there are those who do. I am not a handsome guy either yet some say i am. Everone will meet his/her soulmate sooner or later. Hard to believe? yes. I sometimes give up hope to. Don't and I say please don't feel so bad about yourself. Look in the mirror and say to yourself, i am beautiful, and smart, and sweet. Like they say beauty is only skin deep. What counts is what lies within. That is where the real beauty lies. When you turn 80, you will be wrinkly and stooped. Yet your inner beauty will shine. Hope I helped you. [ gentlegiant's advice column | Ask gentlegiant A Question ]
