about deleting the URL

Hey. im sneaking on the computer because im grounded. Ya, not the best thing.. but i cant live without it. But ne wayz, i already delete all the sites from the history.. but there are still some sites in the drop down list where u type in the url. I think i used to be able to delete them by pressing the delete button when i scroll over it? But now that doesnt work. Do you know how to delete them? ITS REALLY IMPORTANT! please help. Thank you :)

When you're on the internet browser, go to view and click on History and delete it from there.
