idk how to act

Question Posted Friday March 17 2006, 8:55 pm

Ok so tmrw im going to a dance with my best friend(im a girl, hes a guy) but i really like him, as more than a friend. I think my friends can all tell, and they say he likes me back. How can i like not be nervous cus i dont want anything to be weird. I asked him to this dance(i go to an all girls school, he goes to an all guys school) Ive known him since we were like 6. Now we're both 14. And we are all going out to dinner afterwards and he offered to pay, do i let him? Idk, i guess what i want is just tips on how i should act nd what i should do. Thanksss:) <3

first of all .. aww this is so cute! ohkay so all i have to say is be yourself ... dont pressure yourself to act one way or another cause that will just make you seem even more nervous just be yourself and have a good time and show him that you arent afraid to be yourself ... and now about the dinner. when you go keep offering to pay but if he insissts let him because then you know that he really wants to pay for you! have a great time!!

hope we helped!! ♥ us

Be yourself and treat him like a regular best friend. You don't need to flirt with him or try not to stare at him. Nothing wrong with going up to him and telling him that you think you might like him as more than just a friend. You don't have to tell him, but you are allowed to, its not like he has to tell you first or your friends have to give you the OK. You decide.

If he offered to pay, ask if you could maybe pay part of it or something. If he says no, then thats fine. Make sure you say thanks. Really, theres nothing to be nervous about, if you've known him forever then why worry? So just be yourself, try to have fun, and forget about the fact the you might really like him or he might really like you - don't ever let that get in the way of you talking to him or anyone else and just being your usual self =) Hope that helped and good luck.

Actually, I think you should be yourself. And about dinner..You should just ask if he's sure he wants to pay. He'll say yes but it'd be more polite haha.
good luckkk.
