If bisexuality doesn't "exsist," then how does one account for the people whom are equally attracted to both men and women?

The scientific study that showed that 99% of bisexual men are really gay, and 99% of bisexual women are straight. There are exceptions, but not enough for it to be an actual sexual preference.
