so theres this guy that i've liked sence september and he was dating my best friend (she didnt know i like him) and she broke up with him yesterday and that was right after she found out that i liked him and now i think she dumped him because of me. but earlier he said i was pretty and he sometimes flirts with me and i told him i thought he was cute but hes totally in love with my best friend i want to go out with him really bad but i dont know if he likes me and im thinking my best friend dumped him because of me. i dont know what to do. does he like me? did my best friend dump him because of me? please help.

do you know if there was anything bad in their relationship? if there was then she might not have dumped him because of you. she also might have dumped him because she wanted you to go out with him. she might have put in the good word for you. its really hard to tell when a guy likes you sometimes so we're not really sure about that. if you REALLY want to know if he likes you .. go to him or one of his close friends and ask!

well it all depends on if your best friend was planning on dumping her boyfriend or if it was totally out of nowhere, if she was planning on dumping him, then it was definately not your fault, but if it was random- then maybe you were just one reason or it just happened that you told her as she was thinking about ending it anyways. maybe you should talk to your friend and ask why she dumped this boy. && as for this boy liking you- he might just have a small feeling for you. if you know for a fact he still lykes your friend, he might just be beginning to lyke you. good luck!

WOW ... calm down forst of all! All you have to do is talk to your best friend about it. Just confront her asking her why she dumped him and if shes going to dump him for you, then she proboly wouldnt mind if you and the guy dated, and might HElP you get the guy! I think it sounds like hes slightly interested, especially for someone who was dating your best friend. just act normal around him try to support him if hes upset about the breakup and flirt when hes not upset! good luck!
