How do I take the lock off my ipod?

I cant put songs on my ipod for some reason now becuase it has a lock sign at the bottem when i plug it in . How do i take the lock off? it wont even let me click on the songs .

Its like a slider thing, and tbh is very hard to describe in words!
You may have actually worked out how to do it now, its that easy, but hey here it is on YouTube.
